Incredibly comfortable and totally waterproof.They are decently heavy - it has a metal shaft inside- but not uncomfortably heavy - I am 90 lbs soaking wet and nothing about this bothered me at allI have skinny calves so the pull buckle was fantastic for me. (I dont have weird legs - its just the angle of the picture!!!!) I had thin socks on - no stitching catching or hurting.We call these gumboots in South Africa - anyway super happy with the design and fit .What? Lifetime guarantee - who does that ? I am very short so I worry about tall boots but these are perfect. And the top opening is not super small and tight. Adjustable. You can fit your pants down in them and keep the snow or mud off your pant legs.

(So you can use your other foot to pry the boot off).They are waterproof, but in 20 degree weather, my toes got cold.Otherwise, they worked fantastic.

I would have returned them but I needed them right away for work. It's just a look thing but a lot of money for them not to look like they are a pair.

But these boots have a stretch top and an easy clip at top to ensure the boot conforms to the top of your calf.They also give a comfortable airy walk with solid waterproofing throughout. The warmth factor is more to the fact they keep your feet and calf dry, you’ll still need warm socks!

They will require lI wear a thick pair of socks, but I really hate hot feet! They are very well made and extremely roomy in the calf. I consider my calves large at 15.25 inches but I do not even need the extra calf room I can have them fully closed with the genius bucket system on these boots! I love the purple trim and sole! The notch for taking the boots off at each heel is another genius addition. Keeps your hands clean. The bottom portion of the boot is thick rubber yet very well lined or padded to keep your feet not only dry but warm! The upper of the boot is a thick neoprene which is soft and super flexible. It took a hike covering a few miles to break them in which left a couple blisters at the heels but after that no more blisters and they’ve loosened up a bit. Now they are a perfect fit. Overall, the foot is very fitted and based on the design and details, that appears intentional, so be sure to order the correct size. I consistently wear a women’s 7 and these fit wonderfully with thin socks.There is a noticeable burnt rubber smell to them that hasn’t faded after several hikes but it isn’t intense enough for me to knock off any stars.They slide on and off very smoothly without pulling my socks off which is a win. It’s annoying when that happens. The ledge at the heel is a great detail to help slide the boot off easily- a small detail that makes all the difference for me in terms of function and ease of use.There’s nice traction on the sole with a zig zig texture and some tread. On ice they still slide some but work well on snow.There’s a 100 year lifetime warranty with a QR code to scan for easy registration.The buckle at the calf is nice for a snugger or looser fit. The only detail I don’t prefer is the clip used to hold down the excess buckle at the calf so it’s not dangling. The clip is spaced too far apart so the buckle comes out and flips around. Certainly not a deal breaker but in my opinion, the clip needs to be narrower or just not included. fuguznVerified✓Those are heavy duty boots, I think you can wear them for hunting or work in the farm. For just a rainy day, it’s a little bit over kill. They are very comfortable, but heavy. the sole is well padded and has very good support for my feet. Because it is well padded, It keeps my feet warm, so I think it’s more suitable for fall and spring even warm winter time. They are good looking too. My calf is not big so the boots are little loose on the top even with the adjustable strap on the shortest setting, and one of the strap buckle can’t hold strap tight, it will loose up if you pull on the strap, ta ke one star out for that. ...[See More]
