GinVerified✓I ordered these after trying another brand out and really liked them! Ultimately I ended up exchanging them for a black pair, but these boots were pretty comfy. They are made from a thick material and the sole is pretty stiff. I'm hoping the break in a little more as I wear them. They only had whole sizes and Im a 7.5 - 8 usually, so I got a size 8 and they are a little big. But they still do the job and I can get my hands dirty without getting my feet dirty :)

Simply SallyVerified✓These Duck Chelsea Rain Boots are nice. They are made of heavy duty rubber and the soles are non-slip thanks to the thick tread. They slipped on easily but I had some difficulty pulling them off. Even a short zipper on the side would make it much easier but I suppose that might sacrifice the waterproof quality.

I've worn them in several different styles like tomboy style with joggers, streetwear hip hop vibe with baggy jeans & even a casual lifestyle workout vibe with leggings. They are very trendy & versatile. I really love the overall look & aesthetic design of the shoe. Unfortunately, the 2nd day I wore them, I went to put on my left rain boot & the strap broke. I didn't even put much pressure on the strap because these are really easy to slide on as long as I hold the top strap to keep the shoe from squishing in when I place my foot inside. That's whe n the strap just broke. I haven't used these in the actual rain, gardening or muddy ground because I just plan to use them in a fashion sense. They are very comfortable to wear. Not heavy at all, and you can easily move about in them. They are not restricting or anything like some rubber boots I've owned in the past. As with any rain boots, they are heavier than regular boots because they are made from premium rubber throughout. The soles have a fantastic thick, sturdy tread to insure a safer walking experience on wet surfaces. Plus, these will grip muddy areas with no problem. I chose a half size larger so I could wear thicker socks without being too restrictive. These are roomy enough and it’s easy to get in and out of these boots due to the pull straps and the slightly above the ankle height. I am very impressed with the qualit y of these water resistant duck boots. These can be worn in muddy conditions and sprayed off to start clean for another day. However, there is not a lot of extra room in them tor an insert or to wear heavy socks. They seem to be well made and are comfortable even without an insert. They have no arch support. Nice boots for a fair price.
