For the last few weeks of spring, I’ve been absolutely losing my mind every morning because my feet get soaked in my hiking boots every damn day. And god forbid I forgot to take them inside after letting them dry out for the day and it rains overnight. The worst. Nothing worse than putting your feet into an already soaked boot. My dog and I go for hikes, strolls, walks and everything else rain or shine, so I needed a shoe like these big time. Morning dew on the grass is no match for these. Hallelujah! Not to mention the COMFORT. They did not skimp on the insoles. They are plush and superbly comfortable. I went for a1.5hr walk in them for the initial wear and my feet don’t hurt, at all! I expected slight discomfort as most shoes need just a bit of breaking in. Not an issue with these at all. They also run true to size. I got size 8, which is a half size larger than my norma size because I wanted room for thick socks. Absolutely perfect sizing. I probably could go with a 7, but who wants tight slip on shoes. Super easy to slip on using the pull tab(s). If you have a dog, you need these boots! I highly recommend them, and will replace them in the future should they ever wear down. Tried them on as soon as they arrived and I've switched over to this boot now for my yard chores. They are soft yet supportive enough. The collar around the ankle is stretchy, gentle to the skin, nothing that hurts you. I sized up but I think my regular shoe size would've been fine. The next pair I will order my regular size and see how that goes. This larger size isn't ridiculous or falling off or anything. I've worn them in a brief shower but not a driving rainstorm or walking through a pond, I've had no issues with leaking so far. I do wish they had arch support. Poupee FolleVerified✓They really thought of everything in this boot, from the neoprene gore to the pull straps. They're very stylish and functional and have a pretty cushy insole. I was wondering what the little orange blocks were that stick out on the heels until I went to take them off and lo and behold--they have a function! So smart! (See video.) Plus, it comes with a 100 year warranty! I would have expected these to cost a lot more. One note about size: I usually wear a 6.5 so I sized up to 7. Redant89Verified✓I usually wear an 8.5 but I purchased a 9 so I could wear wool socks. The boot was comfortable to wear right out of the box. They are the perfect weight, not heavy. I son does not like the color, but green is my favorite so they are perfect for me. They kept my feet dry this past week we have had so much rain but I am happy with this purchase.
