Cassandra StrandVerified✓My son was in need of a new pair of snowpants so I got him these. He really needs them for some of the coldest days when he waits for the bus to school or has to help snowblow/shovel the driveway. These are a very slim fit and he's a moderately slim guy, but I'd still recommend ordering up a size. These do fit him but they are a bit snug, there's not much extra room for layered clothing or anything and since he needs these for additional protection during our coldest months which often range from -20 to 20 degrees farenheight, layers are usually needed whether you have snowpants on or not. In the coldest temps (around those -20 degree days) these provided barely any warmth but something is still better than nothing. In warmer temps (closer to the 20 degree days) these were quite warm for him.The side zippers on the legs made it easy to tuck in around boots and I like the reflective webbinng design which makes him easier to see when we are shoveling/snowblowing at night or when he's waiting for his bus in the early morning hours. The zippers were all very smooth and easy to open and close, the seams were all well sewn and the material feels good. The snowpants seem quite durable and hopefully will last a long time. C.T.M.Verified✓Sizing:I'm 6 foot tall, weigh 205 pounds, and have a 45 inch chest. Given my size, the XXL should run large on me. However, the XXL barely fits me at all.The reason why these bibs barely fit me is that they have absolutely no give in almost all portioned of the leg, and waist areas.Another issue with sizing is the waistline area of these bibs sit low enough that when sitting, the bibs tend to sit at my midsection awkwardly.Due to all of the above, I'd strongly suggest moving up at least one full size, and as much as 2 sizes, if you happen to have very large legs.Warmth:These bibs are extremely warm. T hey're in line with my highest quality ski pants/ski bibs.You can easily wear these with only a base layer underneath, down into subzero conditions.Quality:While I very confused why these bibs have no built in give, they're made of quality materials.Bottom line:Plan on moving up a full size in these bibs, if you plan on using them for any type of winter sports.3 stars ...[See More]
