ichiverVerified✓I needed waders for field work and I first tried the full ones, but they were much too heavy to walk around in difficult terrain. These seem light, there is not much lining on the inside but they feel comfortable. I am fairly short (5'4") and I got size 7 (women)/ size 5 (men) and there is a bit of extra material between the boot and the hip but I don't foresee that it will be an issue, they seem quite comfortable to walk around in. The boots seem quite comfortable but there is a little bit of extra space (width wise) and I will probably put an insole in. JohnVerified✓I wore these for 12 days in Alaska adding those in the marsh, bog, swamp. The only real dry land was where we set up our tents. One thing is that the rubber boots anytime girl doing a lot of hiking and fighting your way through the marsh, your feet do sweat a lot. But if you pull down the Hipwader to the edge of the booth and angle it right into the sun they do dry out pretty quickly. Never would have made it without these. I left them in Alaska donated to the next hunter who forgets or loses Their hip waders.

(That’s like walking through an ice bath that splashes unexpectedly.) While my hair and upper body was soaked, these waders kept our feet 100% dry and surprisingly warm in those conditions.ATTACHES TO BELT LOOP: be aware that they need to attach to something in order to stay up! The ad makes it clear…but I didn’t read the description (duh) and didn’t wear pants with any kind of belt loops, so they slid down. Not to be overly graphic, but if you find yourself in a bind with these as I did, just attach them to your underwear and you’ll be fine lol.SIZING- I normally wear a size 7.5 womens shoe- bought 2 sizes up to accommodate double socks. That worked fine- but will probably add an insole next time we’re walking on a rocky road and rocky beach.ODOR- After reading reviews about the odor, I was expecting the worst, but we found that they simply smelled like vinyl when we opened them, and it didn’t linger or cause issues for us at all. ...[See More]
